Everyone is invited to participate in our 2020 Pictorial Directory
It has been almost five years since we had the last Pictorial Directory done for our parish.
In these five years, many things have changed in our lives. Many new people have joined our parish, and our directory has become dated. Your participation truly brings a new presence to our parish family in that it helps all of us to recognize the many people that make up the church family of St. Alphonsus. In the busy world we all live in, we probably say to ourselves, “I do not need to take my picture.” It takes a little bit of time, not very much, to have your family’s picture taken for our directory. It does not cost you anything, and you will get a free 8x10 portrait of your family, plus a copy of the published directory in early 2020.
I hear many people say how much they appreciate the current directory as a means of getting to know who the people that sit beside them in church are. Here at the church office, it is a tremendous tool for us to put faces with your names. St. Alphonus has become a very large church parish and getting to know individual parishioners is a tremendous blessing that the directory provides.
Lifetouch will be coming to St. Alphonsus to take free family photos on Tuesday, August 27 through Saturday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 3 through Saturday, September 7. On the weekend of June 29- 30, please take a few minutes after Mass to book your appointment to have your family’s picture taken. If you are unable to sign up at the table in the Gather Space this weekend, there will be a link to sign up online at alphonsus.org beginning on Tuesday, July 1st. We ask that you register for a photo session as soon as possible.
During the month of July, Fr. Arun John will be taking my place while I visit with my family in Ireland. I am most grateful to him for doing so as he provides me the opportunity to see my family once a year. May God bless you, and don’t forget to schedule your free family photo session so we can see your faces in our upcoming pictorial directory.
