Blaine Baker

Blaine Baker

Youth Minister

Blaine Baker was born and raised in Central and is a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. He received all of the sacraments of initiation through St. Alphonsus. During middle and high school, Blaine was a member of our youth program. Because of his own experience with the program, he is excited to revamp the St. Alphonsus Youth Program as the new part-time Youth Minister. 

In recent years, Blaine has worked for St. Alphonsus summer camp and aftercare while simultaneously attending school at Louisiana State University, where he has achieved a minor in religious studies with a concentration on Christianity. He will receive a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in History in the spring of 2024. At LSU, Blaine serves as the President of the National Council of the Social Studies. He currently student- teaches AP US Government at Central High School, serves as the 11th grade PSR catechist, and volunteers for various events at St. Alphonsus. In his spare time, Blaine enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, and listening to Cajun music.

  • Teen Bible Study
  • Youth Ministry (Middle & High School)
